Chargers -8 Rams. The Chargers have been what Ive said they would be all, a Norv Turner team that lacks the leadership to be able to take the next step as an elite team. How can your special teams be that bad, and how can you lose to the Raaaaaaiders? The Rams got beat down last week by the Lions, yea the Lions! Look for a rebound game here and look for this game to be closer than that spread. Teams who get beat after riding a high, tend to be more focused and not let leads get out of control, or turnovers for that matter. Take Rams.
Texans -3.5 Chiefs. Now the Chiefs gave the Colts a hell of a battle last week, and they showed that maybe they aren't ready to be a top flight team just yet, but they are in the conversation. I like the way the Chiefs play to not hurt themselves, and how they seem like no piece is bigger that the part. The Texans, cant defend the pass, their is no way they can be an elite team with that dink in their armour. I like the Chiefs here, and a possible win. Take Chiefs
Pats - 2.5 Ravens. I know that Randy Moss trade was more about the future in NE than anything to do with Moss. This team has been rebuilt on the go, and with Tate, and the other kids they have on the receiving corps, the Pats want to make sure that they can develop the next player or players to be able to help that passing game. But, lets not be mistaken here, this Pats team is weaker without Randy, and that's bad timing against a team with a defence that is tops with the steelers. I haven't even mention the Ravens, and how Flacco is starting to gel with his guys, i like the Ravens straight up! Take Ravens.
Saints -3.5 Bucs. I know the Saints have been bad lately, and they are a perfect example in this league of new era, that it may be a passing league, but you always need to be able to run the ball, even if its a little bit, u have to run the ball, cuz it sets up ur pass, or it can play off your pass, either way, you need it and cant pass it. The Saints haven't showed how they miss it, and the Bucs have done all the right things. I like this Freeman kid, but this spread is too low, and to easy of a gamble to take the Saints in a rebound game, just like some of you taking that girl home last nite cuz she was on the rebound. Take Saints!
Eagles -1.5 Falcons. This eagles team looks way better now that Kolb has put the ball into his harvest of receivers. This team though has so many injuries, and Kolb doesn't get the ball to Desean Jackson enough, and this Falcons team right now is the Ravens of the NFC. I like the Falcons to run the ball easily against this weak eagles d, i mean come on they have been right down awful. Coach Reid is making D calls, some issues their, and you cant have this against a premiere team. Take Falcons.
Giants -10 Lions. The Lions have risen, yes the Lions. The G-men are starting to find a middle ground of who they are, but this spread is too high. I like the Lions to be like the Rams which is an excited team to ride a bit of a wave and give the g-men a game here. Hey ten points in today's parity NFL is way too much. Take Lions
Bears - 5.5 Hawks. I cant believe this Bears team, i mean their starting QB gets sacked 9 times one week, and then the next week, their other QB throws 4 ints, and completes 7 passes, and they win? I'm telling you this o-line is to weak for this team to be this good, and i know the defence is beast again with Peppers. I like the hawks, they tend to show up once and a while and the Bears need to come back to earth a little bit, and 6 points is way too much. Take Hawks.
Packers - 2.5 Phins. Can the Packers please stand up, i mean they have so much talent and fire power, but they need to get a little tougher mentally, and physically. The phins, since Bill Parcells left are no longer the same, ya i know he doesn't coach, but come on, you think he hasn't been coaching before, even a little? This phins team, is just not the same, i know they will rebound from the disaster of previous week, but come on this is Lambeau field, and the Paaackers. Take Pack attack.
Steelers -14.5 Browns. I just cant take that spread, i know Ben is back, and the Steelers are back, but that many points in todays NFL? The Browns have been able to run the ball, which is a must if your going to keep this game close, and i think Ben, maybe will want to do to much. Take Browns, call it parity.
Jets 3.5 Broncos. This Jets team is looking way good, right now the 2nd best team behind the Ravens. They do it all well, and Rexxxy makes this team roll. Pass D vs Broncos O. I like the Jets as they run the ball, dont turn it over, and the Broncos have trouble in the red zone all season, not a good sign for the Denver. Take Jets.
49ers -6.5 Raiders. Wow, what a spread. This will be a dog fight, and with no Mike Vick around, this will be a close game. The Raiders have really played well this year, they have been tough, they have run the ball, and they have gotten an edge back. Now can the Raiders turn it over, yes, can they shoot themselves in the foot, yes, but so can the niners. The niners, what a tease, will that change? No, they are too tense, they need to chill. This will be close, and i like the Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiders!
Vikes -1.5 Boyz. The overrated bowl, Ive been saying it all along that Dallas doesn't have the coaching staff to take this team. Fire the coach and i will show you a playoff team. The Vikes, i love Favre and Moss already, and look for this show to continue, going to be fun to watch. I like Vikes, they are just better than the Boyz, and Ive said it before in week 3 for the Boyz, if they lose maybe they believe the coach could lose their jobs! Take Vikes.
Colts -2.5 Skins. This Colts team is always the same, which is a team that is solid when it needs to be. Their problem, cant stop the run, the skins problem, they cant run. That doesn't make for an upset, i like the Colts, and the skins aren't this good. Take Colts.
Titans -2.5 Jags. You know Monday nites, the home team can really get energy from their home crowd. Oh ya, Jags cant sell out, so forget that one. This Titan team will get better as the season goes on, and the Jags will get more average, that makes me take the Titans, and i like Vince Young to get just better ever week. This game is about turnovers, take the Titans.
