Week 9 pics..NFL
11/7 1:00 ET Chicago -3.5 At Buffalo
The Bills played their hearts out two weeks in a row, now they play in a different country expecting a different result. The bears have been just brutal at the o-line position, and u just cant hide that in the NFL. Even if the Bears can win this game, i cant see them taking it by more than a field goal. Look for this game to be close, and even for the Bills defence to take control of this game cuz they have a good pass defence, and with Jay' i see people' Culter chucking up the ball that makes for a bad mix.

The Texans need to decide who they want to be, a championship team, or a chumpionship team, cuz they are playing the chumps this week after playing the champs last week, so hopefully the are going to show up as champs, cuz i know what the Chargers are, and that is chumps.

The Saints really stepped up last week and shocked me. They really showed they are still champs, and as long as they still have that swagger, they will continue to roll after a huge win last week. Look for the energy train to carry them for a few weeks until they get healthy.

I like this game to stay close, and for the Bucs to be able to trade punches, but the Falcons overall Ora is just to strong for them to lose.

JETS last week really started to get lazy, and stop doing what they do to win. This is a team that has to run the ball, needs play action pass, and cant turn the ball over with fake punts on 4th and 18! Look for the Jets to be hungry here, and they wont take the Lions for granted after the went out and beat the Skins last week.
Only scary thing here is how will Matty Stat played last week with 4TD' but then again were not talking about the JETS D, are we?

Dolphins have been powerful on the road, and don't see that changing especially at 5.5 point clip. This will be a battle, but look for the phins to give the Ravens a run for their money. The Ravens are very dangerous, cuz u know that offence has the firepower now to get rolling at some point, and that leaky phins back end bleeds like a mafia lawyers ulcer! However, not enough for that spread, take the fish!

Are the Pats this good? Seriously, is this how you rebuild? Scary eh, not as scary as the Browns have been in the horror show department. However, they have rebounded and started playing better, this game is just a hunch, and that hunch seems to be the only thing working lately. I can see the Pats getting a little complacent for this match in the dog pound.

Seattle has the 12 man, and they got beat down last week by the Raiders! I see the hawks rebounding here, and the G-men looking down the road too much, and not taking these birds seriously cuz they were shitting on themselves last week.

I think they can contain, and Vick and Kolb should start taking this offense to the next level by pushing each other for that starting job!

Week 8 in NFL and my pics!
49ers -2 Broncos. Dont ask, i know the niners have burned me many times this year, but if they can just stop turning the ball over, they can start winning. The broncos will be jacked after giving up 59 points last week to the Raaaaaiders! I just like the niners defence more, and thats enough to get a win in an ugly game in England. Take niners.
Cowboys -6.5 Jags. This team is a joke, really, how can u have that much talent, and have one win going into to week 8. However, this is when a team with no balls steps up, the pressure is off, and Kitna is good enough to get some things done. They boys just need to run the ball, and not turn it over and they will be fine, its that simple. Take Broncos
Lions - 2.5 Skins. Wow, times have changed, the Lions are favourites! Look the lions have really gotten alot better, no doubt about it. However, this skins team has a hell of a coach, and, he wont let an easy win get away from his team, look for the skins to continue to roll and win this game through the air, the lions d-line is solid, but that back end still lacks depth and talent. Take skins.
Jets - 6.5 Packers. Seriously, this JETS team is damm good, when your defence is this strong against a week oline, it means ur in trouble. The packers are going to have keep a back or two in for blocking reasons, and that just works into the JETS plan attack. The pack, aren't going to be able to keep up, look for the jets to beat this guys physically, and the jets offence is just getting warmed up. Take JETS
Rams - 2.5 Panthers. This Rams team is starting to come together, last week was part of growing up, and this week its time for them to mature. The panthers, are just a mess, which can be a scary wild card, when your laying it down, buyer be aware, this panthers can sneak up here and steal this win by running the ball and not turning it over. Take Rams.
Dolphins -1 Bengals. They have to wake up at some time, no? The bengals had ten wins last season, its the time to turn the corner. The phins have won me many games by picking them early, and they are a solid team when they can run the ball and not turn it over. However, there weakness is in coverage, so i like the bengals to expose that, and take this game and get back on track, or their season is over! Take bengals, cautiously!
Chiefs -6.5 Bills. The chiefs are maybe the best overall young team right now in the league, and when a young team starts to grow, it can just take off until a better teams makes this mature. The bills, gave me a win last week, just thought they cant beat that bad, but that was last week, and now, this week its a different story cuz the chiefs watch film and know to be ready for them! Take chiefs!
Chargers -5 Titans. The Chargers by 5, this team has been a joke this year, maybe they wake up finally, but this titans team is just to mean, and I'm taking toughness in this game and that's the only reason i need, yes titans!
Cards 3.5 Bucs. The bucs are another good looking young team, and i just like their quite confidence, and swagger. This cards team is a mess, its incredible to see what happens in a team sport when u take away a few guys at key positions like middle -linebacker, safety and QB. Bucs, on the way up, and the cards on the way down, that's enough for me. Take Bucs
Raiders -2 Hawks. The raiders now, that they are a decent team, need to win here if they want to be a good team, and the hawks play well, then bad, so that theme plays out this week with a bad one. Dont look now, but the Raiders are starting to believe in their coach, and that can make for a good team, but be ware, its still the Raaaaaaaaaaaaiders! Take Raiders!
Pats 5.5 Vikes. Hey, i know the pats have played well all year, I'm not surprised, that's what happens when u have good coaching. However, this Vikes team will run the ball on this week pats defence, and Favre knows how to step up when he is being questioned, going to be a really good game and the Vikes need this win way more than the pats. Take Vikes!
Saints -1.5 Steelers. The saints are favourites here, are you serious. The steelers are tied for the best team in the league with the jets, and the saints have no bush or thomas, are you kidding me, this is a beat down physically for the steelers, take them as a lock.
Colts 5.5. Texans. i like the Texans to play tough here in this new rivalry, and cant see this game getting away from them, and the colts still cant stop the run, and that's enough for me to take the Texans!

Chargers -5 Titans. The Chargers by 5, this team has been a joke this year, maybe they wake up finally, but this titans team is just to mean, and I'm taking toughness in this game and that's the only reason i need, yes titans!
Cards 3.5 Bucs. The bucs are another good looking young team, and i just like their quite confidence, and swagger. This cards team is a mess, its incredible to see what happens in a team sport when u take away a few guys at key positions like middle -linebacker, safety and QB. Bucs, on the way up, and the cards on the way down, that's enough for me. Take Bucs
Raiders -2 Hawks. The raiders now, that they are a decent team, need to win here if they want to be a good team, and the hawks play well, then bad, so that theme plays out this week with a bad one. Dont look now, but the Raiders are starting to believe in their coach, and that can make for a good team, but be ware, its still the Raaaaaaaaaaaaiders! Take Raiders!
Pats 5.5 Vikes. Hey, i know the pats have played well all year, I'm not surprised, that's what happens when u have good coaching. However, this Vikes team will run the ball on this week pats defence, and Favre knows how to step up when he is being questioned, going to be a really good game and the Vikes need this win way more than the pats. Take Vikes!
Saints -1.5 Steelers. The saints are favourites here, are you serious. The steelers are tied for the best team in the league with the jets, and the saints have no bush or thomas, are you kidding me, this is a beat down physically for the steelers, take them as a lock.
Colts 5.5. Texans. i like the Texans to play tough here in this new rivalry, and cant see this game getting away from them, and the colts still cant stop the run, and that's enough for me to take the Texans!

Week 7 in NFL..Picks with Madnes behind them!
Steelers 2.5 Phins. The Steelers right now are in a battle against the Jets for the dominance of the NFL, and you know how much I’ve liked the Jets since last year when I pick them to beat the Chargers in the playoffs. But, this Steelers team, has overcome so much, I mean who wins with their 4th string QB? Their defence is dominant, and Big Ben is just warming up, I like the Steelers for a TD in this one, and look for the phins to have trouble defending the pass, and the biggest phin killer is turnovers, they never win when their in the negative, and this steel defence is like the used car salesman of the NFL, surely to screw u! Take Steelers.
Falcons 3.5 Bengals. If im a Bengal, im like what the hell, this T.O. guy comes in and are offence can’t score? I’ve said it since the start that trying to please your wide outs, just ends up displeasing a QB’s play. I mean can you imagine, trying to, or having a few wives? You’re never going to be sane, you’re always going to be nagged, and right now Palmer’s head isn’t right. Can the Bengals, upset the Falcons here? Hell ya, but the Falcons need to rebound, they need to run the ball to set up the play action, and they will do all that while not turning over the ball at home, take Falcons with that formula.\
Chiefs 9.5 Jags. The Jags are the epitome of this years NFL. They look like trash, then they look like gold somehow, I never know trash could look like gold? The Jags are in need of a rebound game, the Chiefs are still for real, and they win this game no problem, but 2 scores, too much for a Jack Del Rio team. Take Jags.
Titans 2.5 Eagles. U know I really liked this team when Vick was the QB, I had a feel for what they were going to be like. Now with Kevin “the harvest of” Kolb, no longer playing like corn on the Kolb, this team has taken another step into being that young exciting team coach Reid had in mind. Seriously u have to give him credit, they have lost so many guys to injuries, and they still find a way to win. But, this Titans team players dirty, just the way I like it, and they play tough. I know, I know no Young, but Collins can still get it done, I like the Titans offence to be better than the Eagles defence, and in a close game that’s enough for me, cuz you know the titans defence is way better than that Eagles d. Take Titans.
Bears 2.5 Redskins. I’ve been saying it all along, and I picked the hawks to upset the bears last week, and im doing it again this week. The skins get it done, the Bears o-line is just brutal, and how can u let this happen if you’re the GM. Can you imagine building a house on a shaky ground? I mean this Bears team would have been lethal, but their not! This skins team has better coaching as well, and in this game that’s the difference. Take Skins.
Saints 13 Browns. These spreads have killed me this year, its always hard giving a team a 2 td lead before kickoff. But I like the Saints at home here, they are starting to get their grove back, an u never stand in the way of a machine that was once dominant and now getting its groove back, or else u would get rammed like Paris Hilton does on a weeknight. Take Saints, too much O and too much D, makes this game an OverDose of points.
Ravens 13.5 Bills. I don’t have any logic here, just a hunch the Bills show up to play, hope this doesn’t kick me in my ass from the inside! Take Bills!
49ers 2.5 Panthers. Was leaning Panthers way, but think the 49ers have to be building something off that win, come on man, ur too good to be this bad, just chill down a bit. Coach Singeltary, has to be realising that. Take 49ers, cuz they are a streakkkyyyy team!

Chargers -8 Rams. The Chargers have been what Ive said they would be all, a Norv Turner team that lacks the leadership to be able to take the next step as an elite team. How can your special teams be that bad, and how can you lose to the Raaaaaaiders? The Rams got beat down last week by the Lions, yea the Lions! Look for a rebound game here and look for this game to be closer than that spread. Teams who get beat after riding a high, tend to be more focused and not let leads get out of control, or turnovers for that matter. Take Rams.
Texans -3.5 Chiefs. Now the Chiefs gave the Colts a hell of a battle last week, and they showed that maybe they aren't ready to be a top flight team just yet, but they are in the conversation. I like the way the Chiefs play to not hurt themselves, and how they seem like no piece is bigger that the part. The Texans, cant defend the pass, their is no way they can be an elite team with that dink in their armour. I like the Chiefs here, and a possible win. Take Chiefs
Pats - 2.5 Ravens. I know that Randy Moss trade was more about the future in NE than anything to do with Moss. This team has been rebuilt on the go, and with Tate, and the other kids they have on the receiving corps, the Pats want to make sure that they can develop the next player or players to be able to help that passing game. But, lets not be mistaken here, this Pats team is weaker without Randy, and that's bad timing against a team with a defence that is tops with the steelers. I haven't even mention the Ravens, and how Flacco is starting to gel with his guys, i like the Ravens straight up! Take Ravens.
Saints -3.5 Bucs. I know the Saints have been bad lately, and they are a perfect example in this league of new era, that it may be a passing league, but you always need to be able to run the ball, even if its a little bit, u have to run the ball, cuz it sets up ur pass, or it can play off your pass, either way, you need it and cant pass it. The Saints haven't showed how they miss it, and the Bucs have done all the right things. I like this Freeman kid, but this spread is too low, and to easy of a gamble to take the Saints in a rebound game, just like some of you taking that girl home last nite cuz she was on the rebound. Take Saints!
Eagles -1.5 Falcons. This eagles team looks way better now that Kolb has put the ball into his harvest of receivers. This team though has so many injuries, and Kolb doesn't get the ball to Desean Jackson enough, and this Falcons team right now is the Ravens of the NFC. I like the Falcons to run the ball easily against this weak eagles d, i mean come on they have been right down awful. Coach Reid is making D calls, some issues their, and you cant have this against a premiere team. Take Falcons.
Giants -10 Lions. The Lions have risen, yes the Lions. The G-men are starting to find a middle ground of who they are, but this spread is too high. I like the Lions to be like the Rams which is an excited team to ride a bit of a wave and give the g-men a game here. Hey ten points in today's parity NFL is way too much. Take Lions
Bears - 5.5 Hawks. I cant believe this Bears team, i mean their starting QB gets sacked 9 times one week, and then the next week, their other QB throws 4 ints, and completes 7 passes, and they win? I'm telling you this o-line is to weak for this team to be this good, and i know the defence is beast again with Peppers. I like the hawks, they tend to show up once and a while and the Bears need to come back to earth a little bit, and 6 points is way too much. Take Hawks.

The phins, since Bill Parcells left are no longer the same, ya i know he doesn't coach, but come on, you think he hasn't been coaching before, even a little? This phins team, is just not the same, i know they will rebound from the disaster of previous week, but come on this is Lambeau field, and the Paaackers. Take Pack attack.
Steelers -14.5 Browns. I just cant take that spread, i know Ben is back, and the Steelers are back, but that many points in todays NFL? The Browns have been able to run the ball, which is a must if your going to keep this game close, and i think Ben, maybe will want to do to much. Take Browns, call it parity.

This will be close, and i like the Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiders!
Vikes -1.5 Boyz. The overrated bowl, Ive been saying it all along that Dallas doesn't have the coaching staff to take this team. Fire the coach and i will show you a playoff team. The Vikes, i love Favre and Moss already, and look for this show to continue, going to be fun to watch. I like Vikes, they are just better than the Boyz, and Ive said it before in week 3 for the Boyz, if they lose maybe they believe the coach could lose their jobs! Take Vikes.

More than a TD is too much, you know coach McDaniel's will have a great game plan ready for the Ravens, and as good as the Baltimore has been, i just cant see how this game is more than a one score game. Take the broncos, look for alot of screens, draws, crossing patterns, seem plays, and most of all for them to work the clock and keep this game close. The scary part here could be, the Ravens D lights up Orton and knocks him out of the game, or for the Ravens Offence to finally take the step into their evolution with the additions of Hous and Boldin. Still my odds are on parity and the Broncos -7.5
Buffalo-1.5 Jags. When bad teams play each other, i like to go with the hotter team, and the underdog. The Jags are such a schizo team that they are like a 80 year old dementia resident that seems to win the lottery one week, and forget where they put the ticket the week later when they go to cash it in. The Bills, were really bad against the Jets last week, as i told you that spread was a joke. Bills wont be a joke this week, they will be harder to play against, and could get their 1st win. However, i stick to my rule that i started this paragraph with, take the Jags plus the points, cuz their hotter and a better team right now.
Colts -6.5 Chiefs. Some spreads have the Colts favourite by even more than 8 points, and that's alot of points. Listen this team aint the Bears of smoked salmon and duck tape, this team is a good team, great, no not yet, but good. It will be interesting to see how that old Pats coaches play Manning, but you know Payton is money after a loss, and when his team is 2-2. The problem is can the Colts stop the Chiefs weapons on the run game. The other wildcard factor is the special teams which favors the Chiefs again, i like a TD spread, more than that, i think your pushing it, take the Colts on my spread only -6.5!
Rams - 2.5 Lions. Well, well, the Rams have been good to me haven't they. I told ya last week that this team is growing, and the Lions are growing as well, but at much slower rate than the Rams. i like the Rams again here cuz they have just played really well, and they are starting to really believe what the coach is preaching. Bradford, is looking calm already, and that's scary for the opposition when a rookie QB starts to look cool, it reminds me of Matty Ice of the falcons in his 1st year. Take Rams.

The lights get turned out again this week by more than 2.5 points for the Bears, the only wild card factor is if one of these QB's not called Cutler, somehow realized that his O-line is weak. Packers -2.5 Redskins. You know what Ive finally realized about McNabb? Its that he has never and will never be in the conversation of the games best QB's. But, he is the start of the next conversation after the premiere guys. Packers? Didn't get the RB they need, haven't gotten the O-line help they need. Packers offence is too lethal, and they still haven't shown it, i like the Pack to rebound after a weak 2nd half against the Lions last week, why u ask? Rodgers in the red zone in his career? 40 TD's and 2 INT's! Take Pack!
Houston -2.5 Giants. Giants aren't that good, especially that performance you say last week. It was that the Bears are that bad. Look the Saints D, is going to blitz, and the Cards are going to turn it over, i like the Aints, to start playing like the Saints, and win this one big! Take Saints.
Chargers -7.5 Raiders. This is the problem of the Chargers Ive been taking about all season. I'm 4-0 when picking their games, cuz for some reason, its been easy to select a rhythm of good game, bad game. 49ers -2.5 Eagles. U know how much i like the Eagles, right? But, that's not when Kevin 'where's the corn on' Kolb is playing QB. He needs to play more like a harvest, i think he will play better this week, but Eagles just have too many injuries, and no Vicks. The 49ers, damm, can u please step up and win a game. This guys just need to take a breath, relax man, and they will win a game. U know i grew up watching Singletary and his intense eyes, but sometimes in football too much intensity makes u tight, so loosen up big Mike, take the boys to the movies. I like the 49ers, its an odds thing, but don't bet the house on it. 49ers yes.
Jets 3.5 Vikes.You know i like the Jets, i took them last year to beat the Chargers, and they are a hell of a football team. But, Randy Moss, and Monday nite with Favre, look for this Vikes team to regain its form of last year, and beat the Jets, they Vikes just need this game more, its like the reason i took the Jets to beat the phins a few weeks back. Yes Vikes! Go Randy!

The parity is this league right now is just at a level i haven't seen watching football for the last 25 seasons in the NFL. Week FOR in NFL - Picks, Parlays, & Madness behind them!
Calling this Fav week 4! in NFL!
Titans -6.5 Broncos.....Titans have rebounded after getting planted by the steel, with a nice win over a team in N.Y. called the Giants, but haven't played like GIANTS since they started the season 5-0 last year. The Titans need to run the ball with CJ28, and most of all use the play-action pass with Young cuz that passing attack isn't top flight and ain't tricking anybody. The big thing is not what there going to do, its how they do it, by not committing turnovers and keeping 2 hands on the ball if they are going to cover this TD spread. Look for the Broncos who are emotionally drained to still be lacking intensity!Take Titans!
Steelers-2.5 Ravens...Steelers have been down right dominate, and the reason is still the Samoan whose head and shoulders above all safeties in the NFL. Steelers offence has been agressive cuz they know their defence is lethal enough to make up for there short comings without Big Ben. However, with wins over teams that haven't been tough enough, they have been able to impose their will. The Ravens, have been playing smash mouth football so far in 3 games, and look bad enough against the browns in the run department that they decided to make some changes on the d-line. Look for the Ravens, to want this one bad cuz if u remember well, this is the team they lost to a few years back when the steel won that italiano trophy. I like the Ravens here outright, and look for Charlie Batch to look more like Charlie Batch! Take Ravens.
Bengals -3.5 Browns...Back to that Fav bandwagon, why did they sign T.O.? This was the biggest worry that Owens would demand the ball too much and be in Palmer's ear! They got ride of T.J Hous and went 10-6 as a result. I have faith that Palmer is good enough to keep the boyz in line, and these guys are beyond due when it comes to a break out of sorts. I hate going against this Browns team cuz they played the Ravens tough, and are looking like they can run the ball effectively enough, to demand some respect. However, this Bengals team is better, and that small spread is good enough for me,. Take Bengals!
Packers -13.5 Lions..These big spreads are tough picks, it means Lions start the game with a 2 touch down lead! Packers were bad last week against the bears, 18 penalties? This team is just too good, and the Bears got lucky and the Lions will have to pay for it! Look for this game to be a blow out..Take Packers
Saints -13.5 Panthers. Saints are champs, and u never want to face a champ after a tough loss. Look at history, championship teams don't lose back to back games, unless the whole season is a bad one, and the Saints aren't headed that way. Don't worry no Bush, they have too many weapons to get lost in Bush. I told ya last week that Steve Smith would be trouble for that rookie QB Clausen. This team has too many issues at QB and nothing is going to change until they get a QB, ask the Bears about how they worked for them the last 20 years. Take Saints, its not that many points, its 2 scores, and it means the panthers need to score, and that ain't going to happen.
Falcons-6.5 SanFran49ers. This Sanfran team has been brutal on the offensive side of the ball, and i like Coach Singeltary a ton, for his passion and intensity, but man he never played offence, and its nothing like defence. U had the offensive wizard in Mike Martz and u get rid of him? So, now u just look like a coach who is making the wrong decisions and is too stubborn to admit it? The 49ers are still alive cuz they play in the NFC west, but i think this game tells you if he has lost his team, cuz he's losing this game to a really good Falcons team. Take falcons, too much of everything, and most of all, Matty Ice ain't going to get stressed with the pressure, and that run game with Turner is just to strong, and oh ya they are at home. Need i say more?
Seattle-2 Rams. These are two teams who have been polar opposites of themselves from week to week. I think that is less true when it comes to the hawks, but the only problem is they are playing on the road, and the other issue is that when a young team gets a big win with a rookie QB like Bradford, they can ride that high for a while. Look for the Rams to win, i agree this game is a toss up, but i like that toss in favor of the home team. Take Rams
Jets-6 Bills. I know the Bills played well against the PATS last week, but that Pats defence is very weak on many levels, and the JETS are the complete opposite, that being very strong on all levels from the front 7, to the back end, to their Head Coach. I like the Jets here in a beat down of the bills, and don't think the TD spread is any problem. Take JETS

Its hard to bet against coach Manning, and the Jags are like the 49ers, a dysfunctional team with no offence. Be aware though, the Jags can run the ball, and that is always the Colts Achilles heel, so don't use this pick if u can avoid it as a parlay. Take Colts and the TD.

They do this every year, and as much as i always say that Turner is like Wade Philips and not a big game coach, he is a win you regular season games coach, take Chargers with a big rebound game here and i like them more than the spread. Take Chargers.
Eagles -5.5 Skins. McNabb will get booed, Vick will be dominant with his feet and arm, and the Eagles will start to evolve as a defence. This is going to be a dog fight, but Vick has the experience to be a killer, and Mcnabb has the experience of being sick to his stomach. Look for both defences to allow big plays, and that being the case like for Vick to continue putting up huge numbers, going be a fun one to watch. Take Eagles.

***GiantsvsTitans &G-men got blown out last week, Rolle thinks there are bigger issues on this team and there are. The coaching style of coughlin can win u a Superbowl and can alienate u at the next turn. Its been his m.o. his entire coaching career, and this defence just has to many holes at the linebacker position, and has trouble covering and stopping the run that's a bad mix. ?Titans. They found out just how good the steelers are when they have Polomanu. Chris Johnson will be hungry for this game as he knows the giants got shalacked my the colts run game, ya the colts. At QB look for Young to start, and play it simple and limit his risk, as a result tough close game and that means Titans cuz their underdogs. take titans and the points.
***Pats vs bills, the bills are baaaaaad, that's alot of a's for a team that is playing like ass. the pats and Brady got beat down by the jets in 2nd half, and they will be jacked to put up some numbers, i like the pats by even more than the spread, alot more. take pats.
***Ravens vs browns, the browns are so bad they dont get a capital letter for the b!The ravens got robbed last week, and they will be prime for a beat down to make up for it. look for that offence to get better, look for them to impose thier will on the run, and look for this game to be a beat down. Cribbs has been quite, so he can be a factor for the browns when u play an aggressive team like the ravens, but this game is well in hand and the points will be even higher than the line. take ravens.
***Steelers vs Bucs. are u kidding me at two and a half? The Bucs have played really well, and Freeman has looked like the real deal, but he hasn't played the Steelers. Look at what they did with Vince young, come on man, this is a beat down by the Steelers, the Bucs should be able to hang on early, but as the game goes so does the moral of the Bucs. All the Bucs can hope for is Polomanu gets hurt, or Batch is brutal, and even then i like the Steelers!
***Bengals vs Panthers? The Panthers are one of the teams in disaray when it comes to QB, and they should have gone after a verteran QB, and now u see that Moore is like Kolb, a few games doesn't make a career, u have to be able to make adjustments and Moore hasn't so he is out, and Clausen is in. The problem with rookie QB is u never know, its been done many times the flash in the pan, but he doesn't have alot of targets, and S.Smith is an elite WR who wants the ball, and lets say its tough for a rookie QB to say no and realize he cant throw to him as often as Smith wants. Look for the BBengals, to start playing like the big B, and start to impose their will and show teams why they were a 10 win team last year, and how they beat the ravens, enough said.
***Saints vs the dirty birds! What a beat down the birds spit out last week, and they are started to roll. The saints, lose Reggie, and have some problems with that as a result. Not to forget this Saints team has won alot of close games the last 20 games or so, and this game will be close, and i like the Falcons to maybe even win it out RIGHT, so the bird is the word, and the Saints need a lesson.
***49ers vs Chiefs, i mean the Chiefs have been great! Yes great! This team is the new model of the old pats-coaching wise that is, but they havent really played a tough team like the 49ers. This team the Niners that is, is in big need of a win, and the Chiefs need to come back down to planet earth, u know they are starting to drink the punch, and the Niners will be ready to take it away with a punch of their own!
***Vikes vs Lions? Favre will rebound, and they will run the ball, but the lions front 4 is alot better than their teams record. Look for a battle in the trenches, and the Lions to hold their own. both teams looking for a win, but the Vikes just have more talent, and more experience to pull this off, but this will be a close game. Favre not only misses Rice, but Chestor Taylor as well on 3rd down, thats two things he doesn't have, a go to guy, and a safety release, and he doesn't get along with his coach who is a guy who will never win the big one as long as he is in charge, see cowboys for the reason why...
***Texans vs Cowboys! The Texans handled these guys in preseason, the Cowboys will be ready to bounce back, they have their season on the line here. this is a tough pick, and i know ive taken the Texans, and the reason is that the boyz are in bad shape will Phillips as the boss, and maybe losing this game in the players eye will get Philips lost, the cowboys are a really good team, but without a really good coaching staff! Philips and Childress, just aren't the leaders that win Superbowl's, look at the history, good coaches win GAMES, great coaches win Superbowl's!
***Redskins vs Rams! The skins lost a huge chance at going 2-0 and with coach Shanahan, yes a great Superbowl coach as the leader, this team will rebound. But, dont forget the Rams, no wins, but they have played tough. Spagnolo, the boss of the Rams is a great defensive mind, and the Skins have no run game, so it does worry me that the Rams could get over looked, and that step up and bite the Skins, but not this week, Shanahan is too good of a coach to let that happen. Take Skins and the points!
***Broncos vs Colts, wow poor Broncos, they will play with heavy hearts, and sometimes that can work agianst a team. But, this team plays on emotion, and this fuel will only charge them more. The colts are the Colts, but in their last 20 games they are shit at covering spreads, i like the Broncos cuz they aren't going to get blown out, and that means a close game and the points are worth it. Take Broncos and points.
***Chargers vs Hawks..Ok the Chargers rebounded from the loss at arrowhead in week 1 and the Hawks came back to reality. But, the Chargers have shown they dont like the road, and the hostile crowds. Not much here but a hunch, that the home team makes things hard on the Chargers, so i like the Hawks cuz of the points they get, and cuz this team is still high on its new coach, and the Chargers have a Philips, and childress kind of guy leading them in Turner, and who knows what can happen! Take Hawks and the points, though im not comfortable with this one.
***Cards vs Raiders! Wow, the Cards show u why a QB is huge in the NFL! Look at the Panthers, and the Cards, just dont have anything going on with timing, and that offence is all about timing, cux Kurt Warner, made it so smooth, even when he was getting beat down. The Raiders, have some solid parts, that oline is huge, and that dline has Seymour, the question is will the Raiders offense make enough plays, and i think with Gradkowski back in the starters roll, this team has an identity! Take Raiders, i like the points when 2 shit teams play each other!
***Dolphins vs Jets! This is a hard one to pick, the Dolphins have gotten me 2 wins so far this season, and the jets got me one last week. But at the end of the day can the Phins go up 2 games after week 3 on the Jets? No way, cant see it, i know Revis and Edwards are out, and this will be a fight that u have to turn ut kids away from watching but, i think this game is close and i like the Jets to keep things inline in that AFC east. So take the Jets and the points, not an easy pick, but whoever makes the least turnovers wins!
***Packers vs Bears. Ok Bears, and for those who know im a Bears fan, and have a friend who plays for them. But this is businesss, and the Bears have no business being 2-0, let alone beat the Packers, a team that looks championship bound if they can solve their O-line issues! Packers, by a TD, if not more, and i like the Packers D-fence to slow down the Bears, i mean that O-line is not good, and they won their games more cuz the Lions and the Cowboys killed themselves, this wont happen with the Packers team! Packers minus a td!
